Implementations

SYSPRO is a powerful and comprehensive package with many options and facilities. Designed and implemented in the correct way, within a realistic timescale, it will deliver the business benefits required and ensure that expectations built up during the selection phase are met.

Inform-A-Tek’s ERP implementation methodology allows businesses to quickly reap the benefits of the powerful SYSPRO solution and to achieve renewed operational effectiveness. Our phased approach is structured in a way that all implementation work and procedural changes are done in a controlled way and are at our customers pace. This assures that all aspects of your business’s processes are thoroughly reviewed and the integration to the new business management software is successful.

The first step is the detailed discovery phase which encompasses sessions with the customer to thoroughly examine the business, its objectives, methodologies, systems and activities providing the opportunity to question, redefine and streamline business processes.

Once the business processes are understood and defined, our consultants build a model of the solution that will be implemented. This is presented to the company for them to review, understand and approve the proposed solution.

Once the model has been accepted, a project plan is put in place to implement the solution. The plan includes everything from data conversions and data entry to verifying the network and hardware requirements. Training is a key aspect in the implementation plan. Users who have been properly trained are able to utilize the full power and functionality of SYSPRO software and make a rapid transition to the new procedures and/or system.

We are a member of your ERP integration team. We help you every step of the way with our proven Implementation Methodology which helps you to succeed. We are committed.

In an increasingly fast paced world, clients want implementation to be quicker and less intrusive. It’s a tough thing to achieve because implementing a business solution is not a simple and straightforward process, and there are certainly no quick fixes.

Completing a project quickly may please the client in the short-term but in the long term there’s a high chance that everyone loses out; there are many examples of projects which have ended in acrimony and disappointment.

There needs to be a good relationship between the ERP Implementation team and the client. In order to make it a success, both parties need to work at it.

It’s understandable that companies want things done quickly, in theory it keeps costs down and doesn’t disrupt the core business. But rushing things inevitably leads to mistakes.

The management team in any business sets the tone and expectations for the rest of the employees. Therefore, it’s important to get the team behind the project and driving it forward right from the beginning. This will enable the whole business to understand the benefits of the new system, and how their current business processes will change for the better. Scheduling company or team meetings, regular e-mail newsletters and bulletins are all ways of transferring this message.

Engaging employees early is therefore very important. Assessing the firm’s current processes is a good way of doing this, and it also enables you to understand how the new business solution can be tailored to work within your company. System implementations benefit from high levels of user involvement and management support. Incorporating user knowledge and expertise leads to better solutions.
